Earth Day - Folsom Powerhouse State Historic Park
Pioneered by the Livermore family from 1885 to 1902, the Folsom Powerhouse produced 11,000 volts of electricity for Sacramento residents. Visitors touring the powerhouse can see the massive General Electric transformers as well as the forebays and canal system that brought the water from the dam.
