Chino Hills State Park is a critical link in the Puente-Chino Hills biological corridor stretching from the Santa Ana Mountains to the Whittier Hills. Visitors can enjoy camping, hiking, horseback riding, and other recreational activities around the park. Because of its great variety of habitats and microclimates, Chino Hills State Park is an ideal location for observing many wildlife species native to Southern California such as the coastal cactus wren, red-winged blackbirds, and bobcats.
