Will Rogers State Historic Park

Will Rogers State Historic Park honors one of America’s beloved actors. In 1944, Betty Rogers, Will’s widow, gave their 186-acre ranch to State Parks to be enjoyed as a public park and a memorial for her late husband. This park is in the central Santa Monica Mountains, offering peaceful views of Los Angeles and the Pacific Ocean. Park visitors can enjoy several trails that accommodate hikers, mountain bikers, and equestrians through the Santa Monica Mountains for 67.8 miles to Point Mugu. Visitors can also learn more about the history of Will Roger’s ranch with a self-guided tour at the visitor center and the Historic House Museum.
