Earth Day - China Camp State Park

China Camp State Park offers visitors panoramic views of San Pablo Bay and unique experiences. Recreational and educational activities include the China Camp Village Museum with exhibits of early Chinese settlement, swimming, camping, and 15 miles of multi-use trails. Home to the endangered salt marsh harvest mouse and California clapper rail, the park has more than 100 acres of tidal marshes. By the early 1880s, China Camp was one of many coastal fishing villages in the Bay Area, with nearly three million pounds of shrimp caught each year, dried, and exported to China. Visitors can learn more about the Chinese shrimp fishermen and their history at the China Camp Village Museum located at the park.
